• Inserting the Battery into the Camera 1. Open the camera battery door by pushing it outwards as illustrated. 2. Insert the battery as shown, ensuring you follow the +/- signs that are shown on outside of the battery. 3. Close the battery door by pressing it downwards then slide it back to lock. • Connecting the AC Adaptor (Included) Turn off the camera before connecting or disconnecting the adaptor. Connect the adaptor as shown to power the camera and charge the battery from a household power outlet. • Charging the Battery One Lithium Ion rechargeable battery (Model No.: Li-10B) is supplied with the product. After purchase and before use, charge the battery for 8 hours initially and about 4 hours for subsequent chargings. 1. 2. Using the Backup Battery Charging Slot • Charge a second battery in the backup battery charging slot on the docking station. • Connect the DC plug of the AC adaptor to the DC IN jack on the docking station, and plug the adaptor into a household power outlet. The battery begins charging and the backup battery charge LED on the docking station lights up in orange. The LED turns to green when it is fully charged.
