Inserting the Battery After charging the battery, insert it in the camera as described below. Open the battery-chamber cover. Insert the battery. 1 2 Check the label in the battery-chamber. Inserting a Memory Card Although the camera can store pictures in internal memory, SD memory cards (sold separately) can be used to store additional pictures.
