Inserting batteries This digital camera uses four AA-size alkaline or Ni-MH batteries. Do not use other types of AA bat- teries. Battery condition indicator This camera is equipped with an automatic battery-condition indicator. When the camera is on, the battery-condition indicator appears on the monitor. If the monitor is blank, the batteries may be exhausted or installed incorrectly. Full-battery indicator - the battery is fully charged. Changing the memory card An SD Memory Card or MultiMediaCard must be inserted for the camera to operate. If a card has not been inserted, a no-card warning is displayed on the monitor.
