THE TOP OVEN USES OF THE TOP OVEN The top oven is the smaller of the two ovens. It is heated by elements in the top and bottom of the oven. It is designed for cooking on one level and for small quantities of food. It gives especially good results if used to cook fruit cakes, sweet or savoury flans or quiche. THE MAIN FAN OVEN USES OF THE FAN OVEN The oven is heated by an element around the fan situated behind the back panel. The fan draws air from the oven and the element heats the air which circulates in the oven via the vents in the back panel.
