HP All-in-One overview 1 HP All-in-One overview Use the HP All-in-One to quickly and easily accomplish tasks such as printing photos from a memory card, burning and labeling CD/DVDs, scanning documents, or making a copy. Connect the HP All-in-One to the network To connect the HP All-in-One to the network, use the Ethernet port on the back of the device. To connect the HP All-in-One to the network 1. Your wireless router might have been shipped with a default network name, which is typically the manufacturer name.

NOTE: An ad hoc connection is available if you do not have a wireless router or access point. However, it provides little flexibility, a low level of network security, and slower network performance than with a wireless router or access point. In order to connect the HP All-in-One to your computer (ad hoc), you need to create an ad hoc network profile on your computer. Connect to additional computers on a network You can share the HP All-in-One on a network so that more computers can use it. If the HP All-in-One is already connected to a computer on the network, you must install the HP All-in-One software on the network for each of the computers. Restore network defaults You can reset the network settings to what they were when you purchased the HP All-in- One. CAUTION: This will erase all wireless setup information that you have entered.
