GETTING STARTED Application Considerations The Honeywell Enhanced Air Cleaner is designed for use in the return air duct of a forced air heating, cooling, and ventilation system. Models FH8000A1620, FH8000A2020 and FH8000A2520 are specifically designed for use in systems with an air handler. Models FH8000F1625 and FH8000F2025 are specifically designed for use in systems with a forced air furnace. The Honeywell Enhanced Air Cleaner is CSA certified for shock and electrical fire hazard only.

Application Considerations Electrical Power / Airflow Switch The Honeywell Enhanced Air Cleaner should only be powered when airflow is present. FH8000A – These models are designed for use with an air handler and are equipped with an airflow switch (see Fig. 1), which provides power only when the air handler blower is operating.
