Using Your Hob The hob has four cooking areas which are indicated on the hob glass. There is also an on/off light which comes on when one or more of the cooking areas are switched on. The knobs can be rotated in either direction to provide fully variable heat control. Fit the sealing tape around the edge of the cut-out in the worktop. Lower the hob into the worktop ensuring the mains lead is fed into the base unit and is not trapped under the flanges.
