10 Installation instructions Applying the supplied foam seal 1 Turn the cooktop upside down and place it carefully on a soft surface. Important! To avoid damage to the glass, ensure there is a protective cover underneath it. 2 Apply the foam seal around the glass overhang, 5 mm in from the edge of the glass. 3 Turn the cooktop the right way up and place it into the cutout. 18 Choosing the right cookware Important! Only use cookware with a base suitable for induction cooking. Look for the induction symbol on the packaging or the bottom of the pan. You can check whether your cookware is suitable by carrying out a magnet test. Move a magnet towards the base of the pan. If it is attracted, the pan is suitable for induction. If you do not have a magnet: 1 Put some water in the pan you want to check. 2 Follow the steps under ‘To start cooking’ opposite. 3
