Operating the hob You operate the appliance with the combination appliance’s ring switches. The operation and the function of the ring switches is de- scribed in the Operating Instructions for the combination appli- ance. 3 When a cooking zone is switched on, it may hum briefly. Tips on Cooking and Frying Cookware You can recognise good cookware from the bottoms of the pans. The bottom should be as thick and flat as possible.
