Recommendations for using your display system 1. Optimize the lifetime of your display Enabling the Display Power Management System (DPMS) of your display (in the display’s Settings menu) will optimize its diagnostic lifetime by automatically switching off the backlight when the display is not used for a specified period of time. Cleaning the display Observe the following guidelines to maintain display and LCD screen. • Use a clean, lint-free, absorbent cotton cloth to clear off any residual glue from removal of the protective film or to remove surface dust. Apply light pressure to remove the dust. • Dampen a clean cloth with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to remove glue or dust if the screen is still not clean.
