SETTING THE ALARM (ARMING) WHEN LEAVING Arming the System READY AC ON Note: The keypad will autoscroll messages that are longer than one line. 1 Check the keypad. SETTING THE ALARM (ARMING) WHEN LEAVING Priority Arming. If you attempt to arm with a faulted Priority Zone, a 3-second tone will CAN'T/ sound at the keypad, and "CAN'T/ArmZnF" will display in the window, indicating that AC ON ArmZnF the trouble(s) must be corrected before the panel can be armed. A zone selected as Priority Zone with Bypass (check your Alarm Plan) may be bypassed if in trouble. If the problem cannot be corrected immediately, press C, then arm the panel. A 3

SETTING THE ALARM (ARMING) WHEN LEAVING If you attempt to arm with a “TROUBLE” display (alternating with a system trouble error code), a 3- TROUBLE TRBL second tone will sound at the keypad. (See SYSTEM TROUBLE ERROR CODES for descriptions AC ON of codes). The window will display “CAN'T ArmRst”. PROTECTING YOURSELF WHILE ON THE PREMISES Bypassing Interior Zones BYPASSED INTERIOR READY Interior Zones, when bypassed, allow free movement within the premises while the protection of AC ON armed perimeter zones is maintained. PROTECTING YOURSELF WHILE ON THE PREMISES Instant Protection INSTANT ON ARMED When retiring for the evening, after all family members are home, you can cancel the AC ON entry delay on the Entry Zone(s). Then, when armed, opening the entry door will cause an immediate alarm. (When arming, exit delay will remain in effect). 1. To cancel the entry delay while on the premises, merely press F. TURNING OFF THE ALARM (DISARMING) WHEN RETURNING Disarming the System DISARM/ AC ON XXXSEC 1 Upon entry, the keypad sounder will pulse as a reminder to disarm the panel. The red ARMED light will be on and the window will alternately display "DISARM" and "XXXSEC", where "XXX" represents the entry time remaining in 10-second steps. KEYPAD FUNCTIONS The keypad can provide access to a wide assortment of utility functions. The functions are displayed in a prompting “YES/NO” format.
