2.1 Motherboard installation Before you install the motherboard, study the configuration of your chassis to ensure that the motherboard fits into it. The P4S8X uses the ATX form factor that measures 30.5 cm (12.0 in.) x 21.9 cm (8.6 in.), a standard fit for most chassis.
