Installing FireFly Software 2 SmartDisk recommends that you install the software contained on the Installation CD. Although your FireFly may work without this software (drivers), installation of the software adds functionality on Macintosh computers and ensures optimum performance on PCs. To fix this problem (and improve performance), you must install the latest FireWire (1394) software drivers.
