3.10 Environmental specifications 3.10.1 Ambient temperature Ambient temperature is defined as the temperature of the environment immediately surrounding the drive. Above 1000 feet (305 meters), the maximum temperature is derated linearly by 1°C every 1000 feet. 3.10.5 Shock All shock specifications assume that the drive is mounted securely with the input shock applied at the drive mounting screws.
