Exhaust Duct Window Kits INSTALLATION BEFORE USE 1) Exhaust Duct When you use the unit as an air conditioner or a dehumidifier, the fresh outdoor air must be directed to the unit and the hot air must be exhausted out of the room to complete the air exchange. When the unit is operating on fan or heating models, no outdoor air exchange takes place. You do not need to hookup the window kits and exhaust hose when you use the unit as a
