ASSEMBLY REQUIREMENTS EXHAUST DUCT When you use the unit as an air conditioner, the hot exhaust air and evaporated condensate water must be vented out of the room. The exhaust duct and venting kit serves this purpose. NOTE: The exhaust duct and venting kit should not be used while the unit is operated in dehumidification, or fan mode. DO NOT INSTALL EXHAUST DUCT WHILE UNIT IS IN OPERATION. a) Slide “Unit Terminal End” of the exhaust connector completely over the “Hot Air

To further shorten the exhaust hose, first unthread either exhaust duct adapter clockwise to remove it. Then cut the hose to desired length.
