Chapter 1 Introduction 1.1 Product Overview 1.1.1 Product Introduction This chapter briefly introduces the SecurStor 16I iSCSI-to-SATA-II storage subsystem. The SecurStor 16i subsystem comes with four (4) GbE host ports capable of large I/O transfers over iSCSI packets. Chapter 1 Introduction • BBU module: An optional BBU module sustains unfinished writes cached in memory during a power outage in order to prevent data loss. (See Section 0) • PSU modules: The hot-swappable PSUs receive single- phase power and deliver +5V, +12V, and +3.3V power to the subsystem.
