UNPACKING Your drill press is shipped complete in one container. Carefully unpack the drill press and all loose items from the container. Figure 2 illustrates the drill press and all loose items supplied with the machine. POWER CONNECTIONS A separate 110-120 volt, grounded electrical circuit should be used for your drill press. This circuit should not be less than #12 wire and should be protected with a 20 amp fuse or circuit breaker. Before connecting the drill press to the power line, make sure the switch is in the "OFF" position. DRILLING HOLES TO DEPTH B Where a number of holes are to be drilled to exactly the same depth, a depth stop is provided in the pinion shaft housing and is used as follows: D 1. BORING IN WOOD Twist drills, although intended for metal drilling, may also be used for boring holes in wood.
