You must provide two permanent openings: one within 12" of the ceiling and one within 12" of the floor. Connect these items directly to the outdoors or spaces open to the outdoors. GAS CONNECTION A qualified gas appliance installer must connect the fireplace to the gas supply. Consult all local codes. Use new black iron or steel pipe only. GAS CONNECTION The gas inlet connection is 3/8" NPT. Connect gas line to gas inlet on rear of control valve (Note: we recommend a 3/8" Flexible Gas line. Then connect a Manual Shutoff Valve and gas supply line as shown in FIGURES 4 & 5. WIRING BLOWER ASSEMBLY To locate the blower, open the lower access door and locate the blower cover as shown in FIGURE 7. The blower is located directly behind the blower cover. The blower comes partially pre-wired into the junction box. To complete wiring, run the house power supply into the heater through one of the knockouts located on either side of the firebox.
