FREESTANDING WITH OPTIONAL PEDESTAL INSTALLATION 1. Place heater on backside and center the pedestal on the bottom. Mark the 4 pre-punched holes in the pedestal angle. Use the 4 self-tapping screws provided with the pedestal to drill the 4 marked spots. Secure the pedestal to the bottom of the unit. When venting to an adjoining space, you must provide two permanent openings: one within 12" of the ceiling and one within 12" of the floor on the wall connecting the two spaces (see Options 1 and 2, Figure 8).
