The brake release lever can be located on the rear of each motor. (Fig. 12) These levers allow you to disengage the drive motors and maneuver the power wheelchair manually. Most batteries are not fully charged when shipped from the manufacturer. While in storage, batteries can lose some of their charge. Charging your batteries will ensure you get peak performance from your Alero from the very first time
