Alante´ GP201 Manual Revised 060208 ASSEMBLY Cont. BATTERY INSTALLATION Note: Each battery weighs 25 to 39 pounds each (depending on type). Please ask for help if you do not feel capable of safely lifting that much weight. 1. Place the batteries in the frame. Please ask for help if you do not feel capable of safely lifting that much weight. 1. While holding the seat rotation lever (see Fig. 11) in the up position, lift the seat and insert the seat post stem (located on the bottom of the seat) into the seat-post. See Figure 10. 2. ARM INSTALLATION 1) Loosen (but do not remove) the arm width adjustment knobs at the rear of the seat frame. 2) Insert the lower arm tube into the arm receiver at the rear of the seat frame. Alante´ GP201 Manual Revised 060208 DISASSEMBLY Make certain that the joystick controller power is turned off and that the chair is NOT in freewheel mode before attempting to perform disassembly. SEAT REMOVAL ™ 1) Remove the Velcro straps that secure the joystick controller cable.
