Launching a Data Connection To launch a data connection from your device: 1. Press Applications and select Web . 2. You may see a dialog requesting permission to connect to the Internet (see “Net Guard” on page 7). Select Yes to proceed. (To avoid seeing this dialog in the future, check Never ask me again and then select Yes.) The Web application starts and the Sprint Power Vision home page is displayed. Net Guard When you first connect to the Web, the Net Guard appears and asks you to confirm that you want to connect. This feature helps you avoid accidental connections. You can disable the Net Guard in the future by selecting Never ask me again when the Net Guard is displayed. To change your Net Guard settings: 1. Messaging You can send and receive emails, text messages, and instant messages, and participate in Web-based chat rooms right from your device.
