If the scanner is tilted, it can’t operate properly. ■ Be sure to place the scanner and AC adapter where you can easily unplug the power cord, and where the USB cable can reach your computer. ■ Keep the scanner away from direct sunlight and strong light sources. ■ Avoid places subject to shocks and vibrations, or high or r

Before connecting the scanner to your computer, follow the steps below to make sure the scanner is operating properly. 1. Slide the transportation lock to the right; this releases the scanner carriage. 2. Locate the AC adapter and power cord supplied with your scanner. Connect the power
