CLEARANCES and HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS CFX Vent Free Fireplace System Ensure that minimum clearances shown in Figure 5 are maintained. Left and right clearances are deter- mined when facing the front of the firebox. Follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe installation. INSTALL MANTEL CFX Vent Free Fireplace System 1. Place base near final position. Make sure you have access to all four (4) sides. 2. Place sides in the approximate location on base. Align back edge of side with back of base. Secure joining block #1 to bottom of side using two (2) 1 Z\v” screws. Be sure joining block is flush with bottom of side piece. FIREPLACE INSTALLATION CFX Vent Free Fireplace System FIREBOX TO MANTEL INSTALLATION 1. Slide fireplace into mantel. 2. Use the two (2) 'L' brackets provided to secure the fireplace to the mantel.
