ASSEMBLING AND ATTACHING BRASS TRIM INSTALLING Note: The instructions below show assembling and attaching brass trim to fire- Continued place. You cannot attach the brass trim as described below for built-in installation (see page 13). 1. Remove packaging from three pieces of brass trim. 2. Locate four brass screws, two adjusting plates with set screws, and two shims in the hardware packet. 3. Align shim under adjusting plate as shown in Figure 5. 4. INSTALLATION CLEARANCES INSTALLING Continued WARNING WARNING ICON G 001 Maintain the minimum clearances. If you can, pro- vide greater clearances from floor, ceiling, and adjoining wall. Carefully follow the instructions below. This will ensure safe installation. Minimum Wall and Ceiling Clearances (see Figure 7) A. The installer must supply an external regulator. The external regulator will reduce INSTALLING incoming gas pressure. You must reduce incoming gas pressure to between 11 and 14 inches of water.
