B. Filling Oil Sump 3 4 5 I. Oil Fill Cap With Dipstick If your engine has a dipstick go to step 1. If your engine does NOT have a dipstick, see "II. Oil Fill Cap Without Dipstick (Oil Fill Plug)" instructions below. 2 1. Be sure engine is upright and level. 2. Unscrew oil fill cap dipstick from oil filler tube and wipe dipstick clean. See Figures 7 and 8. 3. Screw oil fill cap dipstick back into oil filler tube. Tighten securely. 4. Unscrew and remove oil fill cap dipstick from oil filler

C. Filling Fuel Tank An adult should fuel this engine. ! WARNING Front View NEVER allow children to refuel this engine. Gasoline (fuel) vapors are highly flammable and can explode. B. Removing Debris from Engine 2 Before each use, remove the air cleaner cover. Discard grass clippings, dirt and debris from the following areas: • Levers and Linkage • Cooling Fins • Air Intake Screen • Air Inlet • Guards Removing debris will insure adequate cooling, correct engine speed and reduce the risk of fire.
