To replace the battery in your thermometer, remove the screw on the backside of the thermometer that holds the battery cover in place. 3. Remove the used battery from the compartment. 4. Reinstall a new CR-2032 lithium battery. Insert the battery into the compartment with the “+” pointing upward (“+” should be able to be seen prior to reinstalli

To perform the “Ear Tug”, grasp the ear and pull upward and backward simultaneously. Insert the ear probe snugly into the ear and depress the “SCAN” button to take a reading.
