~ DETACHING THE CONTROL PANEL You can detach the control panel from the unit and carry it with you when you leave your car unattended. ? 1 if a cassette is inserted, remove it to prevent possible damage to the unit. 2 Press PW to turn the unit off. 3 While supporting the control panel with one hand, press Q to release one side of the panel. Attaching the control panel Cleaning the connector The connector on the reverse side of the control panel needs to be cleaned every so often.
