Precautions on Use Handling Discs To avoid trouble, such as writing errors, loss of recorded data, and malfunction of the drive, take the following precautions when handling discs. Preparing the CRW3200IX Drive (Windows) Set Up the CRW3200IX Drive on Windows Note Place the CRW3200IX drive horizontally. 1 Remove all IEEE1394 devices connected to the computer, and turn on the computer. 2 Be sure that the power switch on the rear panel of the CRW3200IX drive is turned off (STANDBY), and connect the included AC adapter to the DC-IN connector of the drive.
