Remove the fan blade and lay it carefully aside. Be careful not to bend or damage the blade or it will become out of balance. FIGURE 9 2. Note that there is a bend in the heater element along the center rear. This must make good contact with the drain pan or baffle at the drain opening in order to work properly.
