INSTALLATION HOW TO SET UP YOUR UNIT Location of the Air Compressor Locate the air compressor in a clean, dry and well ventilated area. The air compressor should be located at least 12" away from the wall or other obstructions that will interfere with the flow of air. How to Start: 1. Turn the On/Auto/Off lever to "AUTO" and allow tank pressure to build. Motor will stop when tank pressure reaches "cut-out" pressure. 2. Turn regulator knob clockwise to increase pressure and stop when desired pressure is reached. The compressor is ready for use. To Replace Regulator 1. Release all air pressure from air tank. See "To Drain Tank" in the Maintenance section. 2. Unplug outfit. 3. Using an adjustable wrench remove the gauges and hose from the regulator. 4. Remove the regulator. 5. Apply pipe sealant tape to the nipple on the standpipe. 6. Assemble the regulator and orient as shown. NOTE: Arrow indicates flow of air. Make sure it is pointing Regulator in the direction of air flow. 7. Reapply pipe sealant to gauges and hose. 8.
