INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS Tools needed for gas installations: TOOLS AND PARTS Gather the required tools and parts before starting installation. Read and follow the instructions provided with any tools listed here. GAS SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS GAS DRYER POWER HOOKUP ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS ■ 120 Volt, 60 Hz, AC only, 15- or 20- amp fused electrical supply is required. A time-delay fuse or circuit breaker is recommended. It is also recommended that a separate circuit serving only this dryer be provided. GAS TYPE Natural Gas: GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This dryer is equipped for use with Natural gas. Determine vent path: INSTALL VENT SYSTEM ■ Select route that will provide straightest and most direct path outdoors. 1. Install exhaust hood ■ Plan installation to use fewest number of elbows and turns. ■ When using elbows or making turns, allow as much room 12" min. as possible. (305 mm) ■ Bend vent gradually to avoid kinking. ■ Use as few 90° turns as possible.
