DUCTING REQUIREMENTS • Use a 4-inch (10.2 cm) diameter rigid aluminum or rigid galvanized steel duct. • Do not use a smaller duct. • Ducts larger than 4 inches (10.2 cm) in diameter can result in increased lint accumulation. INSTALLATION Parts and literature are packaged inside your dryer drum. To install: 1. Move your dryer to an appropriate location for installation. Consider installing the dryer and washer side-by-side, to allow access to gas, electrical, and exhaust connections. Lay two of the carton cushion-tops on the fl oor. 3-WIRE SYSTEM CONNECTIONS 1. Loosen or remove center terminal block screw. 2. Connect neutral wire (white or center wire) of the power cord to the center, silver-colored terminal screw of the terminal block. Tighten screw. 3. Connect the other wires to outer terminal block screws. Tighten screws. 4. Tighten strain relief screws. 5. Insert tab of terminal block cover into your dryer’s rear panel slot.
