Chapter 1 Hardware Configurations This chapter explains hardware configurations for the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system. 1.1 Controller Enclosure This section explains the main components in the controller enclosure. The controller enclosure contains disks installed in the front, and controllers and power supply units in the rear. Two host interface ports can be installed in the controller of an ETERNUS DX Disk storage sys- tem.
