OPERATION Initial Start-up When starting the MT55F Tamping Rammer perform the following: 1. Open the fuel shut- off valve by moving the fuel cock lever to the open position (Figure 7). Figure 6. OPERATION 2. After the engine cools, turn the engine start/stop switch to the CAUTION - Throttle Lever “OFF” position (Figure 14). Make sure that the throttle lever is moved to the FULL OPEN position. Operating the rammer at less than full speeds can result in damage to the clutch springs or foot 2.
