Standard Configuration Your vehicle security system is programmable, making it possible to assign any button on the remote transmitter to any specific receiver function. The remote transmitter initially comes pro- grammed with the Standard Configuration, but may also be customized by an authorized dealer. Silent Mode Use Silent Mode to temporarily turn off the arm or disarm confir- mation chirps by briefly pressing before either arming or disarming. The confirmation chirp(s) will be eliminated for that one operation only. To permanently turn off the arm and disarm chirps, contact your dealer. NOTE: The Warn Away Response to lighter impacts is bypassed if the sys- tem is armed using the Silent Mode.
