Diesel information DIESEL ENGINE INFORMATION The diesel engine fuel system consists of: ² a frame-mounted electric fuel supply pump ² an engine mounted fuel filter/water separator ² a fuel restriction sensor ² a unit injector for each cylinder The combination fuel filter/water separator removes both water and impurities from the fuel. Your vehicle IN fuel system is equipped with a fuel FUEL filter/water separator to remove water from the fuel. Starting STARTING THE ENGINE Read all starting instructions carefully before you start your vehicle. For temperatures below 0°C (32°F), the use of the correct grade engine oil is essential for proper operation. Driving tips DUAL FUEL TANK SELECTOR CONTROL (IF EQUIPPED) If your vehicle is equipped dual fuel tanks, you will have a selector control, located to the right of the steering wheel, which allows you to draw fuel from either tank.
