2 Intended Use The Philips Respironics Trilogy200 system provides continuous or intermittent ventilatory support for the care of individuals who require mechanical ventilation. Trilogy200 is intended for pediatric through adult patients weighing at least 5 kg (11 lbs.). The device is intended to be used in home, institution/hospital, and portable applications such as wheelchairs and gurneys, and may be used for both invasive and non-invasive ventilation. 6 Remote Alarms When using a remote alarm, make sure you fully test the remote alarm connector and cable by verifying that: – Annunciated alarms on the ventilator are also annunciated on the remote alarm. – Disconnecting the remote alarm cable from the ventilator or from the remote alarm results in an alarm notification at the remote alarm.
