Printer The UP-700 may be configured with multiple types of printers offered by the market. For specific NOTE instructions related to the handling and care of the printer, please refer to the applicable printer instruction manual. Keyboard Inserting the keyboard sheet Insert the keyboard sheet between the keyboard cover and the cabinet as illustrated below, then push the claws at the top of the keyboard cover into the slots in the cabinet. NOTE • Do not spread the keyboard cover too far as it might tear. Keyboard • Replace the keyboard sheet with a sheet new one if by chance it gets wet. Use of a wet keyboard sheet may cause problems. SM OP MA M A Keys and Switches Mode switch and mode keys The mode switch can be operated by inserting one of the three supplied mode keys - manager (MA), submanager (SM), and operator (OP) keys. • Single/double receipt type When you select this type: • One receipt is issued and the transaction is finalized each time you enter an item. • A single receipt or a double receipt is issued depending on the PGM2 programming for the department. • Each sales transaction is automatically handled as a cash deal. • Items specified as SICS or SIF are treated as a single type. • GLU entry is allowed. Sorted Receipt Function When the sorted receipt function is programmed for your POS terminal, PLUs are printed in sorted form by PLU group regardless of the order that you entered items.
