INSTALLATION MOUNTING LOCATIONS The mounting position of your source unit will have a great effect on the performance of your in-dash CD Player. The source unit can be installed in a wide range of operating locations. However, care should be taken to ensure optimum performance. INSTALLATION 2. Connect the BLACK wire to chassis ground. Prepare the chassis ground by scraping any paint from the metal surface and thoroughly clean the area of all dirt and grease. OPERATION-BASIC VOLUME KNOB/TONE CONTROLS DISP The Volume knob is a multifunction controller and handles the VOL Volume, Tone Controls, and Setup Options, see below. DIR To Control Volume MODE 1. OPERATION-BASIC PANEL DISPLAY Tuner Mode: The panel will display the band, FM1, FM2 or AM1, and the station frequency.
