English WARNING 1. CLEANER Please inspect the cleaner every day for dirt. Please clean out any dust that is found up to the element on the carburetor side. When rebuilding the cleaner, be sure to follow the following order: element → felt → element. English 4. FUEL WARNING •Gasoline is very flammable. Avoid smoking or bringing any flame or sparks near fuel. • Wipe up all spills before starting the engine. •Make sure to stop the engine and allow it cool before refueling the unit. • Keep open flames away from the area where fuel is handled or stored. English 5. OPERATION ■ STARTING THE ENGINE F1 WARNING Keep the blades clear of everything around It as they will start moving upon the engine starts. 1. English 6. MAINTENANCE ■ FUEL FILTER (F15) F15 When the engine runs short of fuel supply, check the fuel strainer for blockage. ■ WAY OF THE COOLING AIR (F16) This engine is air-cooled. Dust F16 clogging between the inlet port of the cooling air and cylinder fins will cause overheating of the engine. Periodically check and clean the cylinder fins after removing the air cleaner and the cylinder cover. ■ SPARK PLUG (F17) Starting failure and mis-firing are often caused by a fouled spark plug. F17

English 6. MAINTENANCE ■ MUFFLER AFTER 100 HOURS OF USE F19 1. Remove the muffler, insert a screwdriver into the vent, and wipe away any carbon buildup.
