OPERATION EDGER GUIDE OPERATION - TRIM ‘N EDGE ONLY See Figures 10 and 11. WING NUT ■ Loosen the wing nut and slide the edger guide to adjust it to the desired trimming length then retighten the wing nut securely. Refer to “Edger Guide Assembly” earlier in this manual for additional information. ■ The edger guide allows the trimmer to be used as an edger for cutting along sidewalks, driveways, flower beds, etc. The edger guide is convenient to use and supports the trimmer as it is being used as

Slowly press the primer bulb seven (7) times. 2. Set the choke lever to the FULL CHOKE position (A). 3. MAINTENANCE STRING REPLACEMENT SPOOL See Figures 16, 17, 18 and 19. SPRING 1. Stop the engine, disconnect the spark plug wire. Hold the string head and unscrew the spool retainer. ARROWS ON To remove the spool retainer: SPOOL Turn the spool retainer counterclockwise for Trimlite and Trim n’ Edge. Turn the spool retainer clockwise for Easy Reach. ANCHOR 2.
