Set Power Head/Shaft Assembly on a level surface. A 2. Pull locator pin (A) out, and turn counter-clockwise 1/4 turn to lock- out position. B 3. 18 OPERATION STARTING COLD ENGINE WARNING DANGER The cutting attachment should not rotate at idle. If attachment rotates, readjust carburetor according to "Carburetor Adjustment" instructions in this manual or see your ECHO Dealer, otherwise serious personal injury may result. GRASS TRIMMER/BRUSH CUTTER 19 OPERATOR'S MANUAL SRM-2100SB 4A. Recoil Starter SRM-2100SB Lay the unit on a flat clear area. Firmly grasp rear handle grip and throttle lockout with left hand and fully depress throttle trigger to wide open position. Rapidly pull recoil starter handle/ rope (D) until engine fires (or maximum five [5] pulls). 5A. Choke After engine fires (or five [5] pulls), move choke to “Run” D position. Hold throttle trigger fully depressed and pull recoil starter handle/rope (D)
