Programming the Telephone Data Port This phone has a data port jack to connect an auxiliary phone device, such as a fax machine, computer modem, answering machine, or even a cordless phone. The data port switch on the back of the phone controls the data port jack so you can choose line 1, line 2, line 3, or line 4. Programming the Telephone Priority Line The priority line (one of the four lines) has precedence over the other three lines. When you pick up the handset or press the SPEAKER button, the unit automatically selects the priority line first. Basic Operation Switching Between the Speakerphone, Handset, and Headset To switch to the speakerphone, press SPEAKER. The speakerphone indicator turns on. Put handset back in cradle.
