For example, a base installation of NDS eDirectory with the standard schema requires about 74 MB of disk space for every 50,000 users. However, if you add a new set of attributes or completely fill in every existing attribute, the object size grows. These additions affect the disk space, processor, and memory needed. The NDS eDirectory installation program checks the existing schemas version. If the schema has not been upgraded, the installation program instructs you to run DSREPAIR, then discontinues. 1 1 Copy PATCHES\DSREPAIR\ NTNDS8\DSREPAIR.
