These specifications are more stringent than for ConsoleSwitch. If you are using ConsoleSwitch as a standalone serial access device, you may ignore this section. In your ConsoleSwitch shipment (see Chapter 2: Introduction - Package Contents), you will find an assortment of nulling serial adapters (RJ45 to DB9 / DB-25). 2. 10 CONSOLESWITCH SCS232 USER’S MANUAL This section only applies if you wish to operate ConsoleSwitch with a user console (dumb terminal or terminal emulator) set to communications settings other than 9600 Baud, No Parity, 8 Data Bits, 1 Stop Bit. 1.
