Installation About this Manual This manual contains installation, confi guration, and operating information for the Extron family of full-function, very large CrossPoint 450 Plus ultra-wideband and MAV Plus 3248 through 6464 video and audio matrix switchers. Installation Mounting the Switcher The matrix switcher BMEs are housed in rack-mountable, 6U (sync and video BMEs) or 7U (audio BMEs) high metal enclosures with 19" rack ears. If desired, rack mount the switcher BME as follows: 1. Insert the switcher BME into the rack, aligning the holes in the mounting bracket with those in the rack. 2.
