ANTENNA cONNEcTION Before operating, you must first install an efficient, well-tuned antenna. The success of your installation will depend largely on the type of antenna and its correct installation. The transceiver can give excellent results if the antenna system and its installation are given careful attention. FRONT PANEl O RIENTATION This transceiver allows you to change the orientation of the front panel. Depending on where/how you installed the transceiver you may wish to flip the front panel upside-down for easier operation. 1 On the right side of the front panel, pull the panel release latch forward. 2 Slide the front panel to the left, then pull it away from the main body of the transceiver. 3 Flip the front panel upside-down, then reattach it to the main body of the transceiver. 6
