Install Battery Install/Replace Speaker Batteries 1. Open speaker battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the iH26. 2. Insert 4 "AA" batteries, checking that the polarity ( + and - ends of the batteries) matches the drawing inside the battery compartment. We recommend the use of alkaline batteries for longer life. Using The Remote Control Unit Install/Replace the Remote Control Battery The remote control battery is already installed at the factory. When the remote control stops operating or its range seems reduced, replace the battery with a new one. 1. The battery door is located on the back end of the unit. Battery door 2. Setting Up the iH26 Setting Clock Time 1. Press and hold the Time Set Button for 2 seconds until the display flashes. Press the Hour Set Button until the current hour is displayed. Next, press the Sleep/Minute Set Button to set the current minute. Remember to set the correct AM or PM (an icon to the left of the time display is the PM indicator; there is no AM indicator). 2. ® Charging your iPod Shuffle Your iPod shuffle recharges (until fully charged) while the shuffle is docked in the system and the iH26 is connected to an oultet with the included AC power adaptor. Your shuffle will NOT charge when the unit is running on battery power. ® Listening to your iPod Shuffle ® 1. Rotate speakers into upright position. Alarm Operation The iH26 Home System features “Sure Alarm”. If a power failure occurs or the AC cord is accidentally disconnected, the unit will change to Buzzer alarm to wake you up (provided you have installed back up batteries). This unit also features Gentle Waking, which gradually increases the volume of whatever alarm you set. ® ® NOTE: TO WAKE TO iPOD , YOUR iPOD MUST BE PROPERLY DOCKED AND OFF (NOT IN PLAY MODE) OR NO ALARM WILL SOUND. You CANNOT wake to Shuffle or Line in audio devices

Sleep Operation ® 1. When the iH26 is off or while listening to your iPod , press the Sleep Button to enter sleep mode. The unit will automatically turn off after the selected time. Sleep mode has a Gentle Sleep feature which gradually lowers the volume. 2. You can adjust the sleep timer from 90, 60, 30 or 15 minutes by pressing the Sleep Button again. 3.
